Despite the fact that I just flew myself to Bali during end of July, I decided to spoil myself by flying to Hong Kong a week ago. It was the rightest timing as I could step back from my current chaos & allow myself to witness the truth. And the truth did set me free, but first it made me miserable.
In a word, people change, love hurts, friends leave, things go wrong, but just remember that life doesn't wait for anybody. Though I was the one who want thing to end this way, it's still hurt so much & I took my time to recover. Not alone, but with every single strength & loves I received from my beloved ones.
And I regret nothing. Life's so much better and everything gets real right now. No dramas no lies. Tears won't last forever & life gets better.
Being on a vacation never fails to expose myself to the beautiful whole wide world out there & help me to realize that the insignificant problems that I'm facing we're not even worth quibbling about.
Besides, I've learned that a friend of our friends, who was the same age as me and even engaged to the most perfect boyfriend, was killed in a plane crash while she was on her way to Vietnam for vacation with her fiance. Not only that, her body was nowhere to be found after the plane crash at Mekong river. Such saddening news & the thoughts of the horrible scene made my flesh creep.
Suddenly it strikes me, why would I linger around and wept bitterly over the past for so long? There are so much to explore in the vast world out there and future is unpredictable. Happiness is a choice, you choose whether you want to be miserable or happy when you wake up. So, choose wisely. Plus I wouldn't waste my time mourning over a worthless relationship. I'd live every second of my life to the fullest and with no regrets.
Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined.
Be you, do your own thing and work hard. The right people who belong in your life will come to you and stay.
You might feel worthless to one person, but you're priceless to another. Don't forget your value.
